At INFOM, as a continuing event from last year, we held a special event called "Walking Forest Therapy Roads® with a Doctor" from September 2014 to March 2015 with the subsidy by Green and Water Forest Fund created under the auspices of the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization.

The event was held at a total of eight locations, of which seven of them were among nine locations that were selected from a total of 57 existing Forest Therapy Base nationwide, opening a PR page on the INFOM website to make themselves internationally known; they are Yusuhara Town, Kochi Prefecture; Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Ueno Village, Gunma Prefecture; Agematsu Town, Nagano Prefecture; Chizu Town, Tottori Prefecture; Iinan Town, Shimane Prefecture; Okutama Machi, Metropolitan Tokyo. One more location is Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture, which is scheduled to open a PR page on the INFOM website. In all, ten events were organized, including the kick-off event.

A total of 166 people aged from teens to eighties participated in the events. According to the questionnaire survey, a very high figure of 96% of the participants reported being either“satisfied”or "very satisfied" with the doctors' treatment.

Many reports of these events at each base were covered by media, i.e. TV, radio, the press and magazines.

In response to requests not only from each base but participants as well, we will be holding the “Walking Forest Therapy Roads reg; with a Doctor” event next year (in 2015) as well.
